Discover how the Pelican Voyager clear case protects your Galaxy S21 FE 5G with military-grade drop defense and a see-through design that shows off your phone.
Quick Answer
The Pelican Voyager clear case is a reliable choice for Galaxy S21 FE 5G owners who want serious drop protection without hiding the phone's design.
Why Clear Cases Can Be a Trade-Off
Clear cases let you show off your Galaxy S21 FE 5G's color, but they can yellow over time or show scratches more easily. The Pelican Voyager's clear back is made from rigid polycarbonate, which resists impact better than softer clear TPU cases, but it may feel less flexible during installation.
If you prioritize maximum grip over looks, a textured or opaque case might suit you better. The Voyager's smooth clear back looks sleek but can be slightly slippery in hand, so consider that if you often use your phone one-handed.
Frequently Asked Questions
- Does the Pelican Voyager case fit the Galaxy S21 FE 5G exactly?
- Yes, this case is designed specifically for the Galaxy S21 FE 5G, so all ports, buttons, and the camera cutout align perfectly.
- Will the clear back turn yellow over time?
- The back is made of rigid polycarbonate, which is less prone to yellowing than soft TPU. However, the sides are TPR/PU rubber, which may discolor with prolonged UV exposure. Limit sun exposure to keep it clear. Avoid leaving the case in direct sunlight for long periods.
- Does the case provide good drop protection?
- Yes, the four-layer construction with polycarbonate and rubber is tested to military specifications to survive multiple drops, making it a solid choice for everyday protection. For extra peace of mind, pair it with a screen protector.
- Is the case easy to install and remove?
- The rigid back makes installation a bit snug, but it's still manageable. To remove it, start from one corner and gently flex the sides to avoid stressing the phone. Take your time when removing to avoid scratching the frame.
- Does the case support wireless charging?
- The case is slim enough that most wireless chargers should work through it, but thicker charging pads or certain stands may require you to remove the case. Test with your charger to be sure. If wireless charging fails, remove the case or use a different charger.
