Learn how to pair a tough case with a screen protector to keep your Galaxy S23 FE safe from drops, scratches, and fingerprints.
Quick answer
Pair a tough case with a glass screen protector to shield your Galaxy S23 FE from drops and scratches without adding bulk.
Why a case alone isn't enough for screen protection
A rugged case guards the back and corners, but the display remains exposed to direct impacts. A glass screen protector absorbs shocks and prevents scratches that a raised bezel can't stop. Combining both gives your Galaxy S23 FE complete coverage.
Choosing a compatible case and screen protector
Not every case works well with every screen protector. Look for a case designed with precise cutouts and a slim profile so the protector sits flush without lifting. The Tough Black Case + Screen Protector bundle from Case-Mate solves this by matching both pieces to the Galaxy S23 FE's exact dimensions.
How to set up your Galaxy S23 FE protection
- Clean the screen thoroughly: Use the included alcohol wipe and microfiber cloth to remove all dust, oil, and lint. Any particle left under the glass can create a bubble or reduce touch sensitivity. Skip this step and the protector may not adhere evenly.
- Align and apply the screen protector: Peel the backing and lower the protector onto the screen, starting from the top edge. Let it settle naturally before pressing from the center outward. Use the included squeegee to push out any trapped air. Rushing alignment is the most common cause of misplacement.
- Install the tough case over the protector: Snap the Tough Black Case onto the phone, ensuring the raised edges clear the protector's edges. Press firmly around the corners and buttons to confirm a secure fit. If the case lifts the protector, remove it and recheck alignment.
